The VirtuoSaph Plus EVH system design was developed through a thorough process of research and refinement. Open CO 2 system with distal insufflation reduces the risk of retained clots and provides a conduit that retains its native moisture 1
Bipolar electrosurgical energy supplies high-frequency electrical currents and voltage through an active electrode, causing desiccation and vaporization of only the target tissue at the point of contact, so that damage to sensitive tissues can be avoided close to the instrument and patient burns are virtually eliminated 2
The 'shear triad' (tunnel wall grounding, low wattage and stiffness of the branch) provides fast and precise coagulation between the branches of the vessel and the tunnel wall, controlling the direction of energy away from the conduit , which produces less thermal dispersion.

Dissector
The patented PTFE sleeve dissector reduces friction in narrow muscle anatomy. Provides consistent and uniform dissection of the saphenous vein, radial artery, and surrounding branches.
Reaper
The harvester coagulates and cuts the branches of the saphenous vein or radial artery in one step. The ergonomic handle design allows one-handed operation of the device for comfort and ease of use.
Barter
When used with the dissector and harvester, the trocar will allow constant advancement through the tunnel and minimize pressure on the vessel at the incision site.
